On October 7-8, 2024 the fourth edition of Data Economy Congress took place, which brought together experts from the data, analytics and artificial intelligence industries, creating a space for exchanging experiences, ideas and the latest technological solutions. The event was actively attended by EBIS representatives, including Mateusz Bazan, Rafał Wieczorek and Agnieszka Grabarek, as well as Dominik Dębowski, who took part in one of the key debates of the congress.

EBIS at Data Economy Congress 2024

The EBIS stand became a place of lively discussions and exchange of experiences. Our experts – Mateusz Bazan, Agnieszka Grabarek and Rafał Wieczorek – attracted the attention of the participants, sharing their knowledge on Business Intelligence, data analytics and solutions supporting the digital transformation of companies. Debate: “What will be the future and trends in data management?”

One of the most anticipated moments of the congress was the debate “What will be the future and trends in data management” which took place on the second day of the event (08.10) from 13:15 to 14:00. Dominik Dębowski, Development Manager and Business Intelligence Architect at EBIS, participated in this discussion alongside other leaders in the data industry.

Topics covered during the debate included key issues regarding the future of data management, such as:

  • Data Mesh and the challenges of data decentralization in organizations.
  • Transforming existing data structures to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Data management with limited retention time – strategies and practices.

Data Economy Congress 2024 – Day I

The first day of the congress began with a ceremonial opening and speeches by the Chairmen of the Program Council. Subsequent panels focused on data-driven business strategies, building a data culture in an organization, and digital transformation in the public sector. During networking breaks, EBIS representatives had the opportunity to establish contacts with other experts, exchanging views on the role of data in modern business.

One of the important topics was the panel on green organizations and how modern technologies can support sustainable development goals. This issue is particularly important in the context of the growing role of ecological responsibility of enterprises.

Data Economy Congress 2024 – Day II

The second day of the congress touched on the subject of artificial intelligence and its impact on organizations. The panel “Organization in the era of artificial intelligence – challenges, opportunities and responsibility” opened the topic of responsible use of AI in various sectors. Great attention was also paid to how to prepare organizations for the implementation of the latest technologies and what trends will shape data management in the coming years.

During the networking break, EBIS representatives continued talks with congress participants, sharing their experiences and innovative solutions in the field of digital transformation and data management.
