On November 21-22, 2024, the EBIS team participated in Data Science Summit 2024, the largest independent conference dedicated to data analysis, processing and visualization in Central and Eastern Europe. This unique event, organized in a hybrid format, attracted specialists, scientists and industry leaders from across the region, creating a space for exchanging knowledge and inspiration in areas such as AI, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence.

The course of the event

The Summit was held in two formats:

• November 21 – online part, including over 200 presentations available live and in the VoD model.
• November 22 – stationary part at the PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw, combined with the DS Expo job fair and networking events.

The main conference topics include:

• Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, AI Business Transformation andDeep Learning.
• MLOps, DataOps and Data Strategy solutions, emphasizing practical applications of data in business.
• Exclusive sessions on AI ethics, regulation, and data management strategies.

EBIS Team at DSS 2024

Our company was represented by:

• Mateusz Bazan – CEO, actively participating in talks with industry leaders and presenting the vision of EBIS as a provider of innovative Business Intelligence solutions.
• Members of the Dev Team: Anna Więcaszek, Adrian Krawiec, Maciej Świątek and Michał Bochen, who participated in sessions on the latest technologies and tools supporting data analysis.

The EBIS team particularly appreciated the presentations on the use of artificial intelligence in the automation of analyses, as well as sessions on ethics and regulations in AI – key areas for building trust in modern technological solutions.

Conclusions and inspirations

1. Responsibility in Innovation: Presentations on AI ethics highlighted the need for a balance between innovation and social responsibility.
2. Data management in practice: Lectures on data strategy and MLOps provided valuable tips that will be applicable in our projects.
