Yesterday, on June 12, 2025, a unique event took place at the Novotel Kraków City West hotel – Datalytics Event, which brought together managers, business leaders and data analytics enthusiasts. During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to listen to inspiring lectures, take part in a panel discussion and get acquainted with a case study on the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions in an organization.

The event was organized at the initiative of EBIS, a company specializing in Business Intelligence solutions based on the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Datalytics Event is not only an opportunity for us to share knowledge, but also to jointly build awareness of the role of data in modern business.

We would like to thank all speakers, event partners and guests for their active participation and creating a space for substantive discussion and inspiring networking!

Decision Psychology in the World of Data – a panel discussion by Andrzej Borcz and Mateusz Bazan

The first lecture of the evening – “The Psychology of Decision-Making in the Data Era” – is a joint presentation by two experts: Andrzej Borcz, founder and CEO of Enterprise Advisors, and MTeusz Bazan, CEO of EBIS, expert in the field of business analytics and Business Intelligence.

The speakers touched on the topic of combining hard data with soft aspects of decision-making processes. They drew attention to the psychological mechanisms that influence the way business leaders make decisions based on data. Their presentation presented a complete picture of looking at data, both from a technical-analytical and psychological perspective.

The most important conclusions from the speech:

  • Data is key, but humans will always be at the heart of decisions.
  • Information overload can lead to decision-making paralysis.
  • It is worth educating teams on how to interpret data, not just how to acquire it.

Business Intelligence as a source of competitive advantages – a speech by Albert Kania

The second presentation during the Datalytics Event was a case study of the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions in the Polish Association of New Mobility (PSNM) – an organization that actively participates in shaping the future of transport in Poland. The case study was presented by Albert Kania – COO F5A, Senior Manager at PSNM.

In the presentation entitled “Competitive advantages – how does BI affect the development of the company?” Albert Kania talked about the actual process of implementing BI solutions in an organization that provides data, reports and analyses for the electromobility sector on a daily basis. A key example of using Business Intelligence was the preparation of the report Polish EV Outlook – one of the most important industry publications in Poland.

By implementing modern analytical tools, PSNM has achieved a number of specific business benefits, including:

  • automation of reporting processes, which significantly accelerated the creation of analyses,
  • better management of project data, enabling more precise planning of activities,
  • faster access to information that is key to the development of the organization and the quality of services provided.

Albert Kania emphasized that data-driven transformation allowed PSNM not only to streamline internal processes, but also to increase the value delivered to partners and stakeholders of the e-mobility market.

Data Complexity Under Control – Aleksandra Godlewska and Dominik Dębowski

The last presentation of the evening entitled “Navigating in the world of data – a comprehensive approach to analysis and visualization” was led by Aleksandra Godlewska, Co-owner of Data Vogue, an expert in data visualization and reporting in Power BI, and Dominik Dębowski, Power BI Architect, Development Manager at EBIS.

The experts presented the process of building comprehensive analytical solutions to the participants – from data acquisition, through data modeling, to visualization and interpretation. Aleksandra and Dominik’s participation in the Datalytics Event was not only an opportunity to present a technical approach to BI, but also to show how projects based on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric are used in practice.
