Speakers’ BIO

Michał Tyrański

Business Intelligence Developer, student of Business Analytics, and member of the Data Analytics Research Circle. Daily, he deals with fulfilling clients’ business needs by creating automated financial reports using Power BI software. His main goal is to improve his skills in Business Intelligence.

Session abstract:

The speaker will present games created using Power BI: Hangman and Quiz during the talk. Both projects aim to show the wide range of possibilities for implementing out-of-the-box solutions using this tool.

Michał Sadowski

Trainer and database expert with extensive experience supporting clients’ architectural decisions, infrastructure reviews, and consulting on databases and applications based on Microsoft SQL Server. Leader of the Krakow Data Community group and active speaker at SQL Server-related conferences in Poland and Europe. Daily, he works as a Microsoft Technical Trainer, training customers worldwide on the Microsoft Azure platform. In 2020-2021, selected by Microsoft as MCT Regional Lead and also Microsoft MVP in the Data Platform category.

Session abstract:

You are invited to an inspiring session on advanced analytics in the Microsoft Power BI tool. Power BI is a powerful data visualisation and analysis tool that enables users to extract deeper insights from their datasets. In this session, I will focus on advanced analytics techniques that will allow attendees to realise the full potential of Power BI in their organisation.

I will discuss tools for data segmentation, dynamic filtering, sensitivity analysis, and forecasting. Participants will learn to use these techniques to uncover hidden patterns, identify key performance drivers, and make better-reasoned decisions.

During the session, I will present practical use cases so that participants can see how advanced analytics in Power BI can be applied to their specific applications.
