The next edition of SQLDay is coming soon. This time the conference will take place in Wroclaw on 9-11 May 2022. EBIS, as a Microsoft Gold Partner, will also take part in this critical industry event. So why should you also join us? You can find out more in the following article.

SQLDay – a conference for data analysis enthusiasts

SQLDay is a prestigious and one of the largest conferences in Central Europe, dedicated to the Microsoft data platform. During the three days of this event, there will be many interesting lectures and workshops, which will become an opportunity to practically explore the possibilities offered by Microsoft tools in the field of data analysis. SQLDay participants can undoubtedly count on gaining valuable and up-to-date information on such topics as databases, Big Data and Business Intelligence, and advanced data analysis.

Participation in this year’s edition of SQLDay is an opportunity not only to gain valuable knowledge and exchange experience but also to establish new business relationships. The conference has been organized for 14 years and is widely recognized among people involved in data analysis. What is equally important, its organizers are members of the association of data platform enthusiasts – Data Community Poland, and the content and success of the conference are supervised by experienced organizers of previous editions of this event, who cooperate with the worldwide community of specialists working with the Microsoft data platform daily.

EBIS at SQLDay – see our speaker!

Such interesting topics discussed during SQLDay and the possibility of meeting people experienced in data analysis encouraged us not only to participate in the event but also to give a speech. EBIS will be represented by Jacek Nosal, who will give a lecture on the second day of SQLDay on “The dark side (of data) – car thefts in Poland with the help of Power BI”. Although the topic may sound a bit controversial, in practice, it will concern the analysis of changes that have occurred in our native parking lots since the introduction of the new administrative division of Poland. Indeed, the number of cars has increased, and their classes have changed, but also some part of them has left the parking lots unplanned. All collected data will be visualized in Power BI.

During the three days of SQLDay, there will also be many other equally exciting speeches and workshops. The complete list of workshops can be found under the SQLDay 2022 Workshops link. Some of them will be conducted remotely. Our representatives will also participate in them, so you can certainly count on a report after the conference.

We also encourage you to participate in SQLDay. It will be an excellent opportunity to discuss Microsoft Power BI’s possibilities and exchange experiences.
