Data Economy Congress – Programme Board meeting with EBIS participation
On 12 July 2023, an important meeting of the Data Economy Congress Programme Board took place at The Westin Warsaw Hotel. The conference brought together analytics and data management experts to discuss the agenda for the second edition of this prestigious event, scheduled for 9-10 October this year.
Meeting of the Programme Council of the Data Economy Congress in Warsaw
The session, moderated by the Co-Chairs of the Programme Board, Mariusz Cholewa (President of the Management Board of BIK) and Szymon Walach (Vice President of the Management Board of InPost), began with a discussion of the role and application of generative artificial intelligence in the data-driven economy.
Experts highlighted the enormous benefits of cross-sector collaboration in the data area. It was noted that the different industries are at different stages in the digitisation of processes and use of data and can therefore inspire and learn from each other’s experiences.
The discussion touched on important issues related to data architecture systems and the shaping of cyber resilience in organisations. Great importance was also attached to current regulations and good practices in the data economy and cloud technologies that support the growth of companies.
Subsequently, the discussion topics focused on the energy sector’s challenges in the digital reality age and the application of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) in energy efficiency solutions. There were also threads about the MedTech sector in the data economy. The role of the EduTech sector in transforming the Polish education system was discussed.
EBIS at the Data Economy Congress Programme Board meeting
We, too, had the pleasure of speaking at such a meaningful discussion. EBIS was represented by Rafał Wieczorek, who shared his knowledge and experience of data analysis and the implementation of analytical systems, such as Power BI, in companies from various industries.
The Programme Board of the Data Economy Congress has done significant work establishing the main themes and directions of the second edition of this important event. Participants are looking forward to the October congress, where they will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, share experiences, and make valuable contacts in the field of the data economy.
